About Me
Howdy Howdy! Welcome to Legendarry Fitness! My name is Annie Smith-Decker. I am a former college athlete and a fitness junkie, turned amateur bikini competitor, who decided to leverage my passion into a career.
A little about me, I promise to keep it quick! I am from Davenport, Iowa. I’m 6’2 and I have been playing basketball since I was 10 years old.
Prior to personal training, I worked in corporate Human Resources and Recruitment for about 10 years. In 2019 I made my big leap. I left my stable desk job and enrolled in the NASM CPT Program.
And let me tell you…I love this shit! Sorry, I know, coming in hot. But this is my passion. I live and breathe this. Lifting weights is one of the single best things we can do for ourselves, and I am honored to be someone people trust with their health and fitness journey.
I believe in hard work and following through on promises we make to ourselves. I will meet you wherever you are at in your journey, but I don’t like excuses and lack of effort – I will always meet you with kindness and understanding but I also will tell you what you NEED not want to hear. If you want a coach that wants to see you win and will invest the time, energy, and effort in your goals – than I am for you! If you want to exist in your excuses and keep allowing your actions and words to not be in alignment, then I am probably not the trainer for you. That is the truth.
I want to help people move well for life and meet their goals (while still enjoying balance and things they love!)
That is my mission – I love helping people feel more confident, grow their knowledge, and enjoy the gym no matter what age. I have successfully coached two clients to the bodybuilding stage. For last 2 years I have been working with predominantly older adults and seniors to improve mobility, quality of life and function in their day to day. I also have experience working with clients living with Parkinson’s and people recovering from stroke.
Let’s chat about how I can help support you with your fitness goals.
